I’ve got to say that this series of 24 has been a real disappointment. Yes, I know I shouldn’t be downloading it in advance, but I have – couldn’t be bothered to wait. The final episode in particular had nothing going for it. Well one thing – but I wanted…. My mouth is sealed. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone else.
It is quite funny to note that the one thing that Fox have picked up on is their own version of Pure 24, the fans series that aired on BBC3, 24inside, of which I’ve only watched the last couple. It’s shown online, and the whole thing is a direct lift from Pure 24, with a studio audience watching the show beforehand, followed by questions for special guests. Obviously, rather than getting the guests on the phone, 24inside manages to get them in the studio.
Interestingly, Fox must be completely aware of the overseas following given the international nature of some of the email correspondents. How could they be watching the series contemporaneously if not downloading off the net?
