Well despite some scheduler's daft idea of starting a major drama serial on the night of the Champion's League final, I really enjoyed this three-parter. I've had the novel that Andrew Davies adapted it from kicking around at home for ages, and may actually pull it off the bookshelf sometime soon. I suppose the most disappointing side of the whole thing was the casting of Dan Stevens as Nick Guest. He was good, but sometimes felt just that little bit too stilted.
I think my favourite character was MP Gerald Feddon's daughter, Catherine - a complete loose cannon. Haylay Atwell played this highly strung girl.
Of course, AIDs because omnipresent towards the end. A good piece.
