More Spooks

The quality of this series is very up and down. More up than down, although the episode that aired on BBC1 last night (and BBC3 the week before when I saw it) was easily the worst, with a computer child prodigy apparently single-handedly bringing down MI5.
Last night’s episode dealing with a stolen $20bn was better, but not up to top standard. Disappointingly, a couple of themes that they’d introduced earlier in the series were brought to a swift conclusion. You won’t get me watching anything else.
And have Sky One finally realised that running their own secret agent series, Alias, up against Spooks is not the greatest idea? Last night, they were reshowing Enterprise (mislabelled “All New”) in its place. Alias seems to have been relegated to that all-important post-midnight Saturday slot…
