I meant to write something about this last week. The fourth series of Curb Your Enthusiasm has just started on HBO, and I downloaded it and watched it last week. Why wait for BBC4 when we’ve only just seen the end of series two?
The theme of this season is that Larry is offered a part in The Producers by Mel Brooks. Well on comes Danny Baker on Wednesday trying to peddle the idea that he’s been offered a part in Chicago. It’s obviously a piece of nonsense like those he tries to push every so often seeing how many people are suckered.
Well this was somewhat destroyed when Amy came on and read an email from a listeners who was similarly informed about the theme of series four. You could almost hear Danny trying to shut her up as she ploughed on with the email.
