I suppose my introduction would have been through something like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Difference-Engine-Gollancz-S-F\/dp\/0575600292\">The Difference Engine<\/a> by William Gibson and Bruce Sterling, but there is more and more fiction about now. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a really great collection, and since the it&#8217;s there until February 2010, you really should visit if you get the chance. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Oxford Museum of Science is currently home to a great little exhibition on the subject of Steampunk &#8211; seemingly the first collection of such artworks ever collected like this in the world.
