The brief period of Rod Liddle really didn&#8217;t make up for it.<br \/>\nOK, so his biography of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1841151149\">Marx<\/a> still stares at me guiltily from one of my bookshelves unread, and there&#8217;s been his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1903809428\">collection of journalism<\/a>.<br \/>\nBut now we have something new, and very worthwhile &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0007140967\">How Mumbo Jumbo Changed The World<\/a>. I haven&#8217;t read it yet, only the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/g2\/story\/0,3604,1131008,00.html\">two<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/g2\/story\/0,3604,1131814,00.html\">extracts<\/a> published in The Guardian.
