The BBC has the most titles in the list overall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>News titles did well this quarter with gains for <em>The News Agents<\/em> and <em>Newscast<\/em>. <em>The Daily<\/em> was a re-entry this quarter. What&#8217;s more, <em>Americast<\/em> was a new entry suggesting a certain degree of interest in the US Presidential election in the quarter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other new entry is <em>Stick to Football<\/em> from The Overlap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other things to note are the sizeable jumps of <em>The Archers<\/em>, <em>Crime Junkie<\/em> and <em>That Peter Crouch Podcast<\/em> compared with last quarter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three titles that fell out of the chart this quarter were <em>The Fellas<\/em>, <em>Call Her Daddy<\/em> (#4 in the US chart) and <em>You&#8217;re Dead to Me<\/em> (airing only &#8220;radio edit&#8221; versions of previously released episodes during this quarter).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only <em>three <\/em>of the UK top 25 are also in the equivalent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edisonresearch.com\/the-top-50-podcasts-in-the-u-s-for-q4-2024\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.edisonresearch.com\/the-top-50-podcasts-in-the-u-s-for-q4-2024\/\">Q4 2024 US top 50 podcast chart<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>The Joe Rogan Experience<\/em> &#8211; #1 on both charts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Crime Junkie &#8211; <\/em>#2 in the US, #12 in the UK<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>The Daily &#8211; <\/em>#3 in the US, #17 in the UK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And indeed, these are the only three non-British titles in the UK top 25. I would also note that there are <em>no <\/em>British titles in the US top 50 list at all!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve also tried charting this data over time. I need to understand a little more about the vagaries of embedding a JSON file (helpfully created by Google Gemini) into WordPress without pricey plugins to get this working better.
