So I&#8217;m not quite sure why Londonflashmobs had to cancel their plans to take part. I&#8217;d suggest that the confusion caused by this was probably the reason that only a modest <A HREF=\"http:\/\/media.guardian.co.uk\/broadcast\/story\/0,7493,1322172,00.html\">60<\/A> or so flashmobbers turned up.<br \/>\nI didn&#8217;t catch the whole thing, but saw a certain amount of the 10.00pm repeat. It was reasonably obvious that a good proportion of people knew that it was going to happen and had turned up especially. More annoyingly, that was also the case for a number of press photographers who repeatedly got into shot, and therefore detracted somewhat from the performances.
