To the Menier Chocolate Factory in London Bridge to see Zena in a play called Photo Story, subtitled “the story of boy never meets girl.”
It’s a one woman show in which Zena plays the parts of both mother and daughter. While the mother is preparing for her other daughter’s wedding, the daughter is starting an imaginary affair. To say more would spoil it given that it’ll be going up to Edinburgh for the Festival.
The stark set featured the best use of overhead projectors since my chemistry teacher used them, or Edward de Bono on one of those TV series they used to show in the mornings when I was at school.
