I totally sympathise with this post from Boing Boing.
The copyright warnings at the beginning of films is a relatively new phenomena, but just like the record companies, we’re being treated as potential criminals rather than innocent members of the public.
I love the idea of taking flash photos of the copyright notice. Indeed I think I’ll invest in a disposable camera that will be used especially for this purpose. It could be quite an interesting idea to have a website devoted to the different photos and the films the warnings appeared in.
And of course I still get really annoyed about the fact that they can’t even get their own phone number right.
