I’m sure there’s a really good reason why Showtime always block access to their site from non-US IP Addresses. It’s particuarly annoying when you go to the UK version of IMDB, see their big ads for the forthcoming Weeds, and can’t click on them. I know that advertising folk in new media are just beginning to get beyond the notion that only click-throughs count, but actually rejecting your click through is ridiculous.
In this instance, the series is due on Sky One in the autumn, but a little advance knowledge can only build ratings can’t it?
