“Gorgeous” George Galloway is presenting a couple of shows for Talksport live from Beirut this weekend in what his station has described (according to Mediaguardian) as “the first live radio phone-in broadcast from a war zone”.
They are kidding aren’t they?
Will he be hosting his show from southern Beirut? And did I not read something about a ceasefire? So it’s not really a warzone right now is?
Oh, and anyone would think that Lebanon doesn’t have its own radio stations that have probably been having phone-ins throughout the conflict.
And perhaps other countries in a state of war might have the odd phone-in now and again. It is a popular form of radio programming after all.
