The BBC brings news of the return of Strictly Come Dancing in October. I won’t dwell on the celebrities they have this time around, except to mention that all four usual judges return including Len Goodman and Bruno Toniolli. I mention those two in particular because they also make up two thirds of the US version of the show, Dancing with the Stars. So as far as I can see, with a results show airing on Wednesday nights, the two then have to fly back to the UK (from LA) on weekly basis to do the Saturday show here. Then return, perhaps on Mondays, for the live US show on Tuesdays (time differences across the country necessitate a separate results show on a different day for vote-off shows like this and Idol).
They’re going to rack up a few Air Miles aren’t they?
