Have You Picked Up Your Copy of Amateur Photographer?

Photographic Rights Lens Cloth
This week’s Amateur Photographer magazine is well worth picking up. It comes with a free lens cloth, on which is printed a very polite note to any police officers of PCSOs who may stop you for – er – taking photos.
As you may or may not be aware, more and more photographers, both amateur and professional, are getting stopped for spurious reasons, from taking photos in public places. As the cloth says, “there’s no restriction on people taking photographs in public places or of any building other than in very exceptional circumstances.”
Know your rights as a photographer – and carry this cloth! Plus, you’ll be able to keep your lens clean.
It’s the copy of Amateur Photographer with the cover date Saturday 10 July 2010 that you want, and “Coastal Landscapes” as its main cover strapline. £2.50 in you local newsagent, and well worth every penny.
