When did E4 win the right for the third series of Curb Your Enthusiasm? Does this mean that it won’t get a run on BBC4 now? (Obviously I’ve already seen the third and fourth series, but that’s not really the point). And has E4 made much of this rather good acquisition? Haven’t seen any ads for it on C4, and obviously I never watch E4 now because although we’re into their “quality” season with shows like Six Feet Under, The West Wing and The Sopranos now turning up, this is the same channel that thought we’d want to watch a house full of delinquents most of the summer, and that’s not me.
Also, I note that putting e4.com into your browser actually takes you to the entertainment section of the Channel 4 website. Will Channel 4 viewers be galled to learn of the continued showing of The West Wing on E4 while C4 haven’t shown the last series at all?
