We’re going to crossing the pond to visit my parents in the Summer and they were asking if we wanted to go on a trip while we’re there. York was somewhere I’ve wanted to go back to. My wife has never been and I think she’d love it.
Well worth a visit, and pretty easy to get to either by car or train. The Jorvik Viking Centre is good fun for kids, and there’s Castle Howard not too far away for anyone who remembers Brideshead Revisited. Lots to photograph anyway!
